For 11 years, the Congress Heights Arts & Culture Center (CHACC) has been a creative anchor in Southeast DC building access, opportunity and cultural infrastructure in a community too often overlooked.

 

This Juneteenth, we gather for our 11th Annual Celebration + Benefit Dinner themed Rooted. Resilient. Revolutionary.  We're planning an evening of art, culture and community honoring DC Change Makers while investing in WHAT'S NEXT!

A visionary civic leader, social entrepreneur and community wealth builder whose work continues to shape equitable development and opportunity across East of the River. Her voice and leadership reflect the very spirit of this year’s theme.

Our 2026 goal is to raise funds to continue to support our youth arts programming, workforce development for teens, community workshops for all ages, artist commissions and long-term sustainability for our physical venue, a home of legacy.
