Support CHACC with Giant Food’s Community Bag Program

We’re excited to share that Congress Heights Arts and Culture Center (CHACC) has been selected to participate in Giant Food’s Community Bag Program! For every $2.75 reusable Community Bag purchased at Giant Food, $1 will be donated directly to CHACC — no extra cost to you.

Your everyday shopping can help fuel our mission of uplifting arts, culture, and community East of the River. Together, we’re reducing single-use waste and investing back into local creativity.

Grab a bag. Support CHACC. Build community.

TRIBE CHACC

Congress Heights Arts + Culture Center (CHACC) stands as a powerful hub for innovation and creativity in Southeast, DC — and this year, we proudly celebrate 10 years of impact.

With unwavering determination, we have spent the past decade empowering creatives of all ages through captivating art exhibitions, transformative workshops, and engaging community events. Our mission has remained the same: to expose, inspire, educate, and heal our East of the River family.

For 10 years, CHACC has served as a relentless catalyst for change, both within the Congress Heights community and in the lives of its residents. We are committed to extinguishing the negative perceptions and stereotypes that have plagued our beloved home, replacing them with a vibrant tapestry of positivity, growth, and artistic expression.

Together, we are rewriting the narrative, shaping a future where creativity thrives, and the transformative power of art continues to shine as a beacon of hope and unity.
